About Freddy

** Adopted **

Freddy is a handsome senior boy that has bounced around a bit in the past year or so. His previous owner passed away and family took him in, but realized that their lifestyle (busy with kids and other dogs) was too much for him.

In his foster home Freddy has been a wonderful houseguest. He is happy to follow his foster mom around and play in the yard. He is happy with his person.

Out and about Freddy is learning how to be brave. He loves his car rides. He has not had much previous experience walking on a leash, so is working on that. He also can become overwhelmed by other dogs and will seek out his foster mom for comfort to “save him.”

Freddy has been great with grooming, nail trips, baths and the vet. He is up to date on all his vaccines and healthy for his age, although he could gain a few pounds to be a more healthy weight.

Freddy has a good recall and in the right home situation would not need a fence, but this will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Freddy lived with kids previously, but in his senior age we think a calmer retirement home would be best.

It is unknown how Freddy is with cats.
