Hi, I’m Hazel!

I am 3/4 Border Collie and 1/4 Black Lab. I am about 4 years old.

I am currently looking for a new place to call home. My mom can no longer keep me because I am no longer welcome where she is staying and she is not able to afford her own place right now. She is devastated and heart broken over this and desperately wants me to have a great home. Since I have so much energy, the new living arrangements were not a good fit for me and I overwhelmed the other members of the household.

I am an active girl! I love to play Frisbee, swim, and go for car rides! I am also good to hang out with you and cuddle while you watch T.V. I enjoy Better Belly chews and treat filled Kongs. My mom has taught me a bunch of tricks including “sit pretty”, “roll over”, “shake”, and “high five”, just to name a few! I promise to sleep with you (if you let me) and keep your feet warm and toasty! I think that a suitable home for me would be one with an active couple, a single woman, or a family with older children. I need to have a home as the only dog. I have been with other dogs, but I have recently been uncomfortable living with other ones. I am still good to play at the dog park though!

My Mom has taken good care of me. I am up to date on all of my shots – rabies and distemper. I have been tested for heartworm and on a preventative. I am a healthy girl! Mom says that I can take my bed, toys, and supplies to my new home to help me be comfortable in my new home.
