Ruby is a sweet (and cute!) 16 months old herding breed mix. At 35lb, she is the perfect size to snuggle with and take on adventures too.

Ruby is a people pleaser and love bug at heart. She is treat-motivated, smart as a whip and with consistency has learned several commands in her foster home.

Unfortunately, she continues to be overlooked by potential adopters because she is on the shy side and takes a little while to warm up to new people (she does nothing bad, just pretends you are not there until she is comfortable to interact).

Once you gain her trust (it doesn’t take long!), she is your best pal and a snuggler extraordinaire! She is fine with other dogs and would do well in an active senior home or in a family with children over the age of 10. Ruby is fostered near Adams, NY.
