Dapple is a 3 year old border collie cattle dog mix and frisbee champion with a great sense of humor. She is looking for an agility partner who has an active lifestyle – someone who enjoys exploring and finding new activities to keep her busy. Dapple would be stoked to learn new tricks with you!

She is very high energy but will settle if she’s spent time working her brain.

She is house and crate trained, and knows the words of many of her toys and games.

Dapple likes to hang back before greeting people, but once you’re in her Rolodex she’s very loving. She is more shy greeting people at home than on the go.

She has been good with most dogs she’s met if introduced slowly, but had a time when she got into a small fight – potentially due to being interrupted during her ball “job” at a dog park.

Her trainer does not believe this was aggression. She has been to dog daycare and has played with other dogs at a sitter’s.

She should be with larger dogs, as she plays rough, but listens to other dogs’ queues.

She has been good with chickens, a mini horse, cats, and is okay with geese.

Dapple has been good with the kids she has met but she is a herding dog and should be with older children or in a child free home, as she lives her life with great gusto.
She is currently at a foster and she has met two agility trainers who like her and think she has a lot of potential. She is spayed and current on vaccines. If you are an experienced handler looking for a champion, Dapple is the one for you.
