Buddy

Buddy is a feisty little guy who weighs in at a lean 28 pounds. His thirteenth birthday will be celebrated on April 28. His favorite activities are long walks/hikes and car rides. Buddy likes to be cuddled and snuggled when he is chilling in the house. Buddy will follow treat trail into the crate, but he does not view it as a safe haven and backs out quickly. This may be traced to an early life he was crated 8+ hours per day and attempted to chew his way out, losing his top canines as a result.

Buddy is not destructive in the house and does not potty inside. He is anxious if left home without people (fur brother is not a comfort). He was observed on the nanny cam endlessly pacing back and forth during a 20 minute trial. Buddy is a senior and has no interest in his toys. He has vehemently turned down offers to join his foster brother in games of indoor soccer.

Buddy will do best as the only dog in a childless household, he has a tendency to nip at feet when children or dogs run past him. Buddy is great on leash, and goes on hikes on a 20 foot ribbon drag leash. He foes require a fenced yard, his recall is great on leash but iffy off leash.

He is in good health and is a very sweet boy who will be a great companion to his lucky adopter.
