Introducing Wren:

Are you in search of a furry friend who combines intelligence, affection, and a love for adventure? Look no further than Wren, the delightful canine companion who is ready to steal your heart and become an integral part of your family.

Wren is a lovely and attentive dog, with a cuddly nature. Her intelligence shines through as she quickly grasps commands and learns routines, showcasing her eagerness to please. She knows basic commands, like sit, wait, lie down, heel, paw, and so on. She is highly food motivated so is easily trainable. Wren is a great candidate for a household that can provide her with a sense of purpose—she craves mental stimulation and would excel in a home where her intelligence is put to good use.

One of Wren’s standout qualities is her versatility. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy or a snuggle partner, Wren is up for the task. She’s fantastic on a leash, making outdoor adventures a breeze. She is very fast and loves to sprint around to show off her speed and agility. She loves to grab sticks and can occupy herself with a stick or a toy. Need a cozy night in? Wren can transition into relaxation/cuddle mode on the couch or floor. She gives the best hugs.

Wren loves her toys and sometimes will get confused with something that isn’t her toy (a kids toy or piece of wood or paper) and will chew on that. She is good about leaving shoes and other items alone.

While Wren gets along well with other dogs, Wren’s exuberance and love for canine companions can sometimes distract her. For this reason, she would thrive as the only dog in her forever home, where she can receive and give undivided attention.

On walks she loves to say hi to every dog, and sometimes if they scare her she will roll over on her back to say hi. Wren also can get easily overwhelmed with many dogs or noises at once, typically to get her attention she responds well to sit to help her reset.

In regards to kids, depending on the age, Wren will ignore the kid (if very young) or will go up to say hi if the kid is older. She comes from a home with frequent grandchild visitors so she is used to having kids around.
