Looking for a home for Luke
Luke is 15 months old and has had a tough start in life. He’s looking for a home where he can truly decompress from shelter life and all the changes he’s been through.
Luke would do best as the only dog in the home. With very slow, thoughtful introductions, he may be able to live with a calm, confident dog—but his ideal situation is being your one and only.
He thrives with someone who is home most of the time, as he does experience some stress when crated or left alone. Because he’s still young and playful, he can be a bit mouthy and jumpy, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids would be best.
As a border collie mix, Luke needs regular exercise and would make a wonderful hiking or adventure partner. He’s a truly great dog who just needs the right environment to shine.
We love Luke very much, but with our 5 other dogs, the chaos is simply too much for him. This was not an easy decision, but we want to give him the chance to thrive in a home that better meets his needs.
