Rocky
Rocky is a young 2.5 year-old, 55 lb. American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and English Shepherd mix with a sensitive, gentle nature.
He is shy and cautious, especially with new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes very affectionate and loves cuddles, belly rubs, and staying close to his person.
He’s house and crate trained, smart, and food-motivated, making him responsive to training. Rocky thrives in a calm, predictable home with an experienced owner who will give him time and patience to build confidence.
Rocky would do best in a quiet, adult or teen-only home without cats or small animals, and ideally as the only pet or with a very calm dog that will respect his space. He has mild hip dysplasia and takes medication for anxiety.
Overall, he’s a loyal, deeply loving dog who needs understanding and structure—but will form a strong, rewarding bond with the right person.
